The Orlo School of Hair Design and Cosmetology

History

The Orlo School of Hair Design was founded in 1986 and is an independent, privately owned school devoted to teaching men and women the art and science of Hairdressing, Cosmetology and Nail Technology. From its earliest years, The Orlo School of Hair Design has built its reputation on the success of its graduates. We are committed to upholding this tradition.

Facilities 

One of the area’s most up to date facilities, The Orlo is conveniently located on North Allen Street near Central Avenue, close to the Everett Road Exit of Interstate 90 (Exit 5). The school consists of one major clinic area, classrooms, a conference-audiovisual room, a student lounge, restroom facilities, library, photography studio, a make-up studio, and administrative/counseling offices. The building is handicapped accessible.

Placement Assistance Service

The Orlo School of Hair Design and Cosmetology provides continuous information of career placement opportunities to students and graduates. An active listing of job opportunities is maintained on a Placement Bulletin Board and our staff assists in coordinating positions with each individual student’s and graduate’s needs and talents. While job placement assistance may be provided, it is understood that the school cannot promise or guarantee employment to any student or graduate.
